We received an email from our friend Dick Hofland in Amsterdam; we stayed with the Hoflands when we went to Amsterdam in October. He reports that it is cold now in the Netherlands too, and he sent these pictures of himself: a Dutchman skating on frozen canals in Holland -- romantic, no?
