I got my camera back.
I had brought it to a camera repair shop but the quote was quite high so I sent it back to Canon. They fixed it for no charge and returned it to me very quickly. I say: Thanks Canon! Great service.
I just knocked the camera off my desk. Swear to God. But it's working.
